Welcome to Career and Professional Development!
As a student, it’s never too early to start visiting Career and Professional Development. Whether you’re a first semester freshman or graduating senior, we have the resources and services to meet your career needs. Our Career Coaches work with you individually to understand your professional goals and help you set short and long-term steps for achieving them.
As soon as you set foot on the Hilltop, you will meet your designated Career Coach to discuss choosing a major/career, discuss your strengths and personality assessments to help you understand your values, skills, and interests, and learn how to find a part-time job on or off the Hilltop.
Whether you’re hoping to land your first internship, search for a full-time job after graduation or apply to graduate/professional school, Career Coaches can help you write and perfect your resume, CV, cover letter, statement of purpose, and prepare you for interviews.
Beyond individual advising, our office hosts multiple on-campus recruiting and networking events to get you connected with alumni and professionals in your field(s) of interest. We also have a variety of online resources so you can explore any of the above topics on your own.
To see all the resources and services offered by Career and Professional Development, select the Career Community Toolkit for the career and/or industry of interest. If you don’t know the School for your major, you can find it here!
