Overview:
This position is in a fast-paced professional office environment that is student oriented. Students will assist staff in the offices of the Dean of Students and the Vice President for Student Affairs. Duties are not limited to, but may include, answering multi-line telephones, providing customer service for students and guests, filing, photocopying, data processing, light research, monitoring front office, deliveries, running errands, and numerous other projects as assigned. Employees must be willing to comply with attendance and dress code. Professional etiquette, dependability, and confidentiality are expected.
*Each front desk will be open from 8 am to 5 pm daily.
Job Responsibilities:
• Execute daily administrative tasks as outlined by the Administrative Coordinator and all office staff.
• Attend all mandatory desk worker staff meetings as scheduled
• Obtain and distribute mail
• Assist guests by answering questions.
• Answer the phone courteously, identifying yourself and the Student Affairs and Dean of Students Office and addressing the caller’s request.
• Act as a role-model for other students and abide by the rules and regulations of the university
• Maintain the confidentiality.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Ensure that the office printer is operating properly and is well stocked with paper and ink.
• Knowledge of Google Suite, especially Google Calendar.
