Rob Morris is the Director for Career and Professional Development at St. Edward’s University. Rob leads the team in creating and executing initiatives tied to empowering students to identify and pursue their individual career goals. The core team initiatives focus on strategic outreach, resource development, career coaching and education, programming, and peer mentoring/advising. Rob has over 10 years of experience in higher education with eight in career development. Rob has diverse experience in developing and leading efforts in: career/major exploration, industry/major specific career coaching, training and development, programming, peer career program management, supervision, assessment, and diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.

Associate Director, Experiential Learning and Internship Development
Tyler Barstow is the new Associate Director for Experiential Learning and Internship Development at St. Edward’s University. Tyler helps employers hire talented students for their part-time jobs, internships and full-time positions as well as helping students improve their marketability as job candidates. Before starting at St. Edwards, Tyler worked 5 years in higher education helping students with their career journeys, and coordinating employer engagement at Washington State University, and his Alma Mater, Texas State University. He served in the United States Marine Corps after high school and received a bachelor’s in Public Relations.

Assistant Director, First-Year Career Initiatives
Brittany Stansel is the Assistant Director for First-Year Career Initiatives in Career and Professional Development at St. Edward’s University. Brittany oversees and executes career development outreach initiatives focused on first-year residential students and assists with individual career coaching/advising to students and alumni of the university. Brittany has over four years of experience in career development and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Mississippi State University.

Assistant Director, Second-Year Career Initiatives
Cydni Joubert is the Assistant Director for Second-Year Career Initiatives in Career and Professional Development at St. Edward’s University. Cydni develops and supports initiatives focused on career coaching and building for second-year students. Before coming to St. Edward’s, Cydni has worked in both the non-profit sector and in higher education. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Sociology from St. John’s University in Queens, New York.

Chris has over 4 years of experience working in student facing roles in higher education. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Texas State University.

Mary Joncas is a Career Coach in Career and Professional Development at St. Edward’s University. Mary assists students in developing their career goals, as well as supporting them throughout the job and internship interview processes with resume/cover letter writing, mock interviews, and more. Prior to joining CAPD at St. Edward’s University, Mary was a coordinator at a healthcare education nonprofit, a veterinary assistant at a wildlife rehabilitation center, and worked in peer student advising. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Binghamton University in New York State.
